2019 Trends: Color of the Year
As recently released in the National Association of Reatlors REALTOR ® Magazine, we can expect to see more coral hues in home design next year. It has been unveiled by Pantone that “Living Coral” is the 2019 Color of the Year. The color, which is an orange shade with golden undertones, embodies “warmth and comfort,” which is a great description anyone would want for their home. Not far from the pinks that 2018 brought to the color table, this color definitely pops!
You can definitely make a bold statement with Living Coral as an accent color as it would give a good pop of color in any room. You can expect to see it in more shag rugs, cozy blankets, and upholstery to “create a warm, comforting, and nurturing feeling in the home” within this new year. The perfect color to make such a pop of color to coordinate with many other colors in your home to complete the warm and welcoming feeling many homeowners strive for.
Even with this Living Coral being named the “color of the year”, there are a couple other colors that paint companies have picked to be the go-to color for 2019 as well including a bluish hue named Blueprint by Behr paint and a warm terra cotta color named Cavern Clay by Sherman Williams. So along with the Living Coral color, expect to see these colors incorporated in home decorations this year. So many great pops of colors perfect for staging or just to enjoy the warmth that it can bring to your home.
