April 2022 Housing Numbers

The Spring Market is in Full Bloom! We are hopeful as we are beginning to see an increase in inventory over last year (more than 25% in some areas).  As inventory increases it will provide relief for buyers not feel so overwhelmed with bidding wars and increasing interest rates.  But remember, even if we see an inventory increase it will still remain a seller’s market in the foreseeable future – click to view the Collin County Historical Data Graphs to see where we are overall in inventory for active listings over the past 5 years through today.

We are all continuing to watch world events and inflation to see the effects to the real estate market, but all the prediction still point to a continued strong market in our area.  We will keep you updated, but if you are on the fence about buying – earlier in the year may be better than waiting – reach out and we would be happy to guide you in this unprecedented market.
